Jewellery Care Guide
All sterling silver jewellery inevitably oxidizes; this does not reflect the quality of the jewellery, since it's a natural phenomenon. However, there are ways to protect your pieces from tarnishing, simply by keeping them in their original box (which is anti-tarnish) or in a closed dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewellery to the beach, pool or gym, as saltwater, chlorine and sweat can be harsh on metal.
Gold plated jewellery can fade slightly since it's a thin layer of gold, but keeping it away from harsh chemicals like perfume and lotion can expand its lifetime. Always remove pieces (especially rings) when you wash your hands or go in the shower. Try to adopt a last-on first-off policy.
All jewellery can be cleaned using a soft cloth or mild soap.
